ALVIN EVANS

Alvin retired with 39 years of continuous injury free Class I rail service in 2017! His career began as a Conductor in Jacksonville Fla.

In the process of excelling in his rail safety career, Alvin earned a degree in Transportation Technology. Alvin served as Training Coordinator, member of the Inclusion Council, Conductor Mentor and Training Instructor II.  As the manager of the External Training Department that produced over a million dollars in annual revenue doing customer training, Alvin specializes in building relationships and providing training to the customer.

 

TREVON MATTHEWS

Following graduation along with an athletic career at South Carolina and the Cleveland Browns, Trevon embarked on a 14-year career in the rail industry.

Trevon progressed from a contract employee to management during his railroad career as a Training Instructor, before being promoted to a manager of Conductor Training at our nation's largest railroad.

Seeking new challenges Trevon retired, obtained his MBA, and has moved on to bring his vision and knowledge of rail safety and training to an even broader audience at SRC.
